"Alright folks, get it out of the way. Check out the sweet ass in front of you and the girl's pants next to you, and now actually close your eyes and get present." Don't be surprised when Eric Paskel – founder of the Yoga Shelter chain and the creator of the ultra-sweaty, butt-kicking, flow class known as Yoga Rocks – walks into a packed studio and starts class with a no-nonsense (swearing included) call to your mat. This class is equal parts vinyasa boot camp, dance party and group therapy (Eric's got a long resume as a psychotherapist outside the studio). These classes are brimming with yogis, so you won't get much actual instruction when it comes to your asanas, but you will undoubtedly torch about a zillion calories and get a healthy dose of therapizing (totally a word). Eric always reminds his students: "Whoever you're being right now on your mat, you better believe that's who you are off your mat…so I highly suggest you practice choosing to smile."
