We love the idea of combining yoga with other workouts, bringing the benefits of the practice to those who might not otherwise give it a try. Erika Hall is hard at work bringing yoga to runners and athletes through classes and workshops, teaching and running all over the east side. We had to check out what she’s all about, so we hit up her class at Heartbeat House in Atwater Village. Short, but sweet, the one hour class consisted of basic flows perfect for those new to yoga as well as yoga pros. Erika utilized yoga poses in creative ways to stretch, strengthen and lengthen muscles commonly used by athletes. We love that she offered variety in each pose to make the posture more or less challenging so we could get what we needed. Creative, fun and inspiring, Erika is a ball of energy that we know you will love.
