Jonathan Watters is one of those teachers who so clearly loves exactly what he does. In a studio that leans more toward boot camp-style yoga, this YogaHop co-founder still has that warm-and-fuzzy yogi vibe (but naturally, you'll also find him rocking out to some Nicki Minaj while completely whipping your butt into shape). He arrives to class early, making sure he's acquainted and caught up with everyone in the room, but is no-nonsense when class gets started. A kick ass playlist – hip hop/pop hits for cardio and indie top 40 for cool down – matches this fast-paced and high-intensity flow. Although the poses are accessible to the newbie (reminder: basic does not translate to easy), the forty-minute flow portion of class is a very real workout. Expect to be dripping 15 minutes in. But Jonathan still doesn't let his yoga class turn into an impersonal boot camp – although he leads the flow with an aerobics-style headset, Jonathan always finds time to turn off his mic to give individual instruction along the way. Jonathan's class is a calorie-torching playtime, but will still leave you feeling blissed out and totally centered.
