Spring cleaning with Essential Oils:

Often, we have rituals associated with cleaning for spring. Some of us throw open the windows, roll up our sleeves and scrub away the winters’ accumulation of dirt, dust, salt and mud from lingering snow.

For those of us who are very concerned with keeping a green home that's as free of toxins as possible, cleaning with natural products is a must. Essential oils an effective addition to a variety of cleaning products. Certain oils can help surfaces sparkle and shine, while others are good protectors and defenders. And they have the added advantage of keeping our airspace fresh.

It is easy to make your own cleaning products with essential oils. With a little trial and error, you can make a natural and powerful solution for a fraction of the cost of a ready-made product. Here's an easy recipe to try at home.
