Wheel pose: How to do it and why we love it

Do you love wheel pose? We do! Find out how to find ease in your yoga wheel pose below.

To get into wheel pose begin lying flat on your back. Bend your knees and place your feet flat on the earth with your heels as close to your glute muscles as possible. Bend your elbows and press your palms so that they frame your face and so that your fingers point towards your toes. Exhale and lift your hips off of your mat, pressing firmly into both feet and hands. Work to get your forearms perpendicular to the earth. Remain here for 3-5 breaths, then carefully lower to the mat.
