Study shows yoga can help with COPD

If you or someone you know is suffering with COPD, you might want to make more time to hit the mat. A new study found that yoga benefits patients with COPD.

COPD, which includes diseases like chronic bronchitis or emphysema, makes it hard for sufferers to breathe out, which in turn prevents them from breathing in healthy air.

There’s currently no cure for COPD, but this new study found that “lung function, shortness of breath, and inflammation all showed significant improvement after patients completed 12 weeks of training.”
